Style
I provide Interior Design consultation for residential design projects- customized to meet your current and future needs. Whether it be a smaller scale project of quickly selecting new fabrics/ finishes for an existing interior space, providing plans and elevations for design renovations and/or new construction- or any combination thereof- I will work with you to help achieve your ideal space from design conception through implementation and install.
Working with a variety of aesthetics, I enjoy really taking the time to learn my clients wants and needs/ likes and dislikes... as well as how they intend to use and live in the space... and design thoughtfully with all of these aspects being considered. Modern, contemporary, traditional, transitional... and any combination thereof... my focus is to provide a well balanced, organized space.
Specialties include furniture, fixture and equipment selection, space planning, custom cabinetry design, color consultation as well as managing purchase and installation to ensure meeting deadline and budget requirements.
Approach
Applying the skills learned from my BFA in Interior Design, each of my home renovation and interior design projects receive a very thoughtful and thorough process.
Our initial meeting would start with a comprehensive programming session where we walk the space, and you share with me as much as you can about how you would like to use the space, your vision for the overall mood and feel of the space... and any useful knowledge you can share that will help me design a space suited to your likes, wants and needs. To me, collaboration is vital in achieving your ideal product. I'm very good at using existing pieces and designing a beautiful, more functional room around them.
From our initial programming meeting, all the way through design development, implementation, procurement and installation I will be in consistent communication to keep you updated on the process, and make sure all expectations are being met.

With 25+ years in the industry, I have met and worked with many different suppliers, manufacturers and contractors.... and have a vast network of sources to create the space of your dreams. I always say that the devil is in the details... and I work hard to make sure that no detail is overlooked.
